Alessandra Tanesini is Professor of English, Communication and Philosophy a the University of Cardiff.

Her current work lies at the intersection of ethics, the philosophy of language, and epistemology and focuses on epistemic vice, silencing, prejudice and ignorance. She is currently a co-PI on a two-year multidisciplinary research project Changing Attitudes in Public Discourse which is dedicated to reducing arrogance in debate

David Owens is Professor of Philosophy at the King's College London.

His areas of investigation include Normative Ethics, Political and Legal Philosophy, especially the Foundations of Private Law, Epistemic and Practical Normativity, and Early Modern Political and Ethical Philosophy
